    The IEP letter is required per DODI 6130.03, medical standards for accessions. There is no way around this. I'm surprised they didn't ask for it sooner. You will need to get a letter from the school about the IEP, when you were on it, etc. Get as much detail as you can, including when it ended.

    Most people just take what is said at these IEP meetings and think "this is the best they can do". That's completely wrong! You can look up the rules for IEP and it tells you clearly that the parent is an equal partner in the decision of services for the child in need. You can direct what is or is not good enough for your child.

    Teachers teach everything math, science, history, reading plus we work on the OT goals feeding, handwriting, walking, stringing beads. SPED teachers are with the students all day, depending on the IEP, and OTs are only with the students when providing direct services. Example one of my students has 30 min direct (week) 30 min consult (month).
