Lili-Marlene Premilovich (born March 30, 1949), known professionally as Lene Lovich (/ ˈ l eɪ n ə ˈ l ʌ v ɪ tʃ / LAY-nə LUV-itch), is an American-British singer.She first gained attention in 1979 with the release of her hit single "Lucky Number", which peaked at number 3 on the UK Singles Chart [2] and made her a leading figure of the new wave music scene.
Shadows and Dust is the fifth studio album by English-American new wave singer Lene Lovich. Released in 2005, it was her first album in 16 years, the preceding album being 1989's March. Like the previous album, this one was also recorded in Norfolk. [1] The album was produced by Mike Thorne and released on his own label, The Stereo Society. [2]
In 1996 Moss Brothers purchased the franchise rights for opening Canali shops in the UK, and opened its flagship shop on New Bond Street in 2000. In 2010 Moss Brothers relinquished the Canali franchise and re-branded the shops under other brands they operated.
Outside of his solo career, Kennedy began a band named Shadows and Dust with three other members during his studies, which included Micheál Quinn, who is Kennedy's tour drummer. Although he enjoyed the experience, the band split up in 2015. [6] In 2018 and 2019, he toured the US, Australia and Europe to sold-out audiences.
