Parokya ni Edgar (lit: Edgar's Parish) is a Filipino rock band formed in 1993, composed of Chito Miranda (lead vocals), Gab Chee Kee (rhythm guitar, vocals), Buwi Meneses (bass guitar, backing vocals), Darius Semaña (lead guitar, backing vocals), Dindin Moreno (drums, percussion), and Vinci Montaner (backing vocals).

Originally Parokya ni Edgar was called 'Comic Relief'. However, they decided to change the name in homage to a Noli me tangere joke in their student days. Later on, Parokya ni Edgar performed regularly in Club Dredd , one of the famous clubs in Manila during that time.
