TV Globo (formerly Rede Globo) is a Brazilian free-to-air television network owned and operated by the media conglomerate Grupo Globo (formerly known as Organizações Globo). One of the longest-running telenovelas in the country, however, is the teen-oriented Malhação (Young Hearts), which had aired from 1995 until 2020; as such, it is commonly classified as a Western-format soap opera instead.
