Joyce Lilieth Robinson OJ CD MBE (née Lawson; 2 July 1925 – 12 May 2013) was a Jamaican public servant best known for her work as a librarian. Daphne Rowena Douglas CD (26 September 1924 – April 2024) was a Jamaican librarian, academic and public servant. She was the first Jamaican woman to become a professor at the University of the West Indies, where she was head of the Department of the Library Studies, and later served as chairman of the National Library of Jamaica from 1997 to 2011.
