Bunkers Hill, also Bunker's Hill, Bunker Hill and Bunkerhill, is a location in Trelawny Parish, Jamaica. [1] By 1787 Bunkers Hill Estate was owned by Thomas Reid and producing sugar and rum. In 1809 there were 215 enslaved people on the estate, and the highest recorded figure was 241 in 1823.
Green Park Estate was one of the largest and oldest sugar plantations in Trelawny parish, dating back to 1655, with the Invasion of Jamaica by the English, when Oliver Cromwell first granted land to James Bradshaw, the son of John Bradshaw, one of the regicides who signed the death warrant of King Charles I.
