The Clark Fork River Operable Unit. The Milltown Reservoir Sediments Superfund Site is a major Superfund site in Missoula County, Montana, seven miles east of Missoula.It was added to the National Priorities List in 1983 when arsenic groundwater contamination was found in the Milltown area.
The trucks were carrying about 25,000 liters of pesticides and 76 tons of sulfuric acid, according to the National Agency for Water and Basic Sanitation, raising concerns about environmental damage.
Tazlina Lake is a body of water, 21 miles (34 km) long, in the U.S. state of Alaska. It is at the head of the Tazlina River , 1 mile (1.6 km) north of the 1952 terminus of Tazlina Glacier and 62 miles (100 km) north of Valdez , in the Copper River basin. [ 1 ]
