Reese is a village in Tuscola and Saginaw counties in the U.S. state of Michigan. Located almost entirely in Tuscola County's Denmark Township , the village includes only a tiny portion of Blumfield Township in Saginaw County.
The first school building that was part of what would eventually become the Puffer School district was built in the 1870s by Hiram Puffer who then taught at the school. In 1925 this original structure was replaced by a brick building. Two additional schools, the Pillon and Baxter School buildings, were built in the early 1900s.
The village of Reese is in the northwest corner of the township on M-81. Richville (formerly called Frankenhilf) is a small unincorporated community in the southwest corner of the township at 43°24′33″N 83°40′38″W / 43.40917°N 83.67722°W / 43.40917; -83.67722

Tuscola Township (/ ˈ t ʌ s. k oʊ l ə / tuss-KOH-lə) is a civil township of Tuscola County in the U.S. state of Michigan.The population was 1,978 at the 2020 census. [5]The city of Vassar is to the northeast and incorporates some land from the survey township that forms the basis for the present civil township.
The Ford Piquette Avenue Plant is located at 461 Piquette, on the northwest corner of Piquette and Beaubien. It is a three-story mill-style building designed by Field, Hinchman, and Smith for Ford in 1904. [12] The first Model Ts were built in this building. [13] The building was designated a National Historic Landmark on February 17, 2006. [1]
