Cypress Cove was designed by Michael Williams, CEO Williams Architects, [4] and was designed to allow future expansion on the 8.5-acre (34,000 m 2) lot. [2] Because the park was built near wetlands in the town, Cypress Cove attempted to create a bayou theme with its architecture, including creating split-level roofs, and wood facades, as well in landscaping by planting daylilies, and wild grasses.
It has 2 campgrounds. Cypress View Campground has 50 sites and Lakeshore Campground has 108 sites. Restroom facilities with hot showers are accessible by both campgrounds. Many sites can accommodate RVs up to 40 feet in length. There are also 30 rondette cabins, each with 2 bedrooms and 1 bath, 10 of which are on piers over the lake.
Cypress Methodist Camp Ground is a historic Methodist camp meeting in Ridgeville, Dorchester County, South Carolina. Cypress Camp Ground was functional as early as 1794, and an adjacent cemetery contains graves from the early 1800s. The campground is in the general shape of a rectangle of 34 tents, or cabins, made of rough-hewn lumber.
