Barbara Joan Higgins (born September 21, 1962) is best known in Southern Alberta for her 21 year career as senior anchor, writer and producer of the 6 o'clock news for CTV Calgary. After a 26 year career as a journalist, Higgins left her post at CTV in July 2010 to run for public office in the Calgary mayoral election .
His career saw his move between Manitoba, Ontario, Quebec, and Alberta, [2] and he provided coverage of the October Crisis in 1970. [3] He became an anchor with CFCN (now part of CTV ) in 1973, continuing in the position until 2013. [ 4 ]
He then moved to Edmonton to work for CFRN radio and television, serving as sports director from 1963 until his retirement in the early 1990s. [4] [5] During his time at CFRN (branded as CTV Edmonton), McCann covered the 1980 and 1988 Winter Olympics, announcing the skiing events. He was CTV's host of its coverage of the 1976 Summer Olympics. [5]

Lloyd Robertson OC (born January 19, 1934) is a Canadian journalist and former news anchor who is special correspondent on CTV's weekly magazine series, W5.Robertson served as the chief anchor and senior editor of CTV's national evening newscast, CTV News with Lloyd Robertson, from 1984 to 2011, when he retired from the CTV National News team.
CTV Morning Live is the name of the local morning newscasts airing on CTV's owned-and-operated stations in Western Canada, specifically, Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, Saskatoon, Regina and Winnipeg as well as on CTV 2 stations in Ottawa and Atlantic Canada.
