Kincardine (/ ˌ k ɪ n ˈ k ɑː r d ə n / kin-KAR-dən) is a municipality located on the shores of Lake Huron in Bruce County in the province of Ontario, Canada.The current municipality was created in 1999 by the amalgamation of the Town of Kincardine, the Township of Kincardine, and the Township of Bruce.
The locals felt that that action would have too many negative results. As a result, the Paddy Walker Heritage Society was created, and the society bought the Walker House from Mrs. Gairns in 1998. Many restorations were done to the Walker House and the construction was completed in 2008 in time for the 2008 Kincardine Old Boys Reunion.
