450 Bushmaster zero advice. Ive got an AR 450 (16" barrel) with a Vortex Strike Eagle BDC scope. I shoot Hornady ammo. I hunt farms fields so my longest shot would be 200yds; the usual shot is 100yds or less. So, where should I set my zero? Im thinking set it at 50yds and use the reticle markings for the longer shots.

Unless your recoil sensitive or it's an accuracy issue, there is no reason to go less than 225 grains in a .452 bullet. I will say that the comparison is a bit sided on the 240 bullet. The 170 bullet at 2550 is on the slow side and the fast side for the 240. For equal ballistics, upper end velocities should be used for each bullet.
