1. #1. Posted October 28, 2023. My king quad 700 runs rough when cold then won't start some times but not often when it's hot. And occasionally smoke's a lot when it's cold I'm guessing that's rings but I'm worried unless it's causing the other problems. All help is appreciated thanks. Quote.
Suzuki ATV Forum. 2007 Suzuki King Quad 700 LCD Display. Hey, I got a 2007 Suzuki King Quad 700. I took it "squba diving" (not intentionally). I drained it, changed oil a few times, fired right up. My problem is the LCD display, it worked fine at first, then it would work for a minute after start up, now, it's blank, only the backlight works.

I have two 2002 Suzuki LT80K quads, a 1997 Yamaha Timberwolf 250, and a 1996 Kawasaki Bayou 220. I have had different ones throughout the years, and plan on buying another Yamaha Banshee. I plan on trying to learn more about all of them, so I can customize some of them.

To check the ignition system (if there are no trouble codes indicating a faulty crank position sensor) you should check the coil's resistance, which should be 0.1-0.6 Ohms from the terminal to the ground, and 12-19K ohms from the spark plug lead to ground ...
Im not familiar with a KQ but maybe someone else knows more. Just as a check...when going forward slowdown to a stop. Do not use the brakes at all. Then shift into reverse and try to accelerate. Sometimes mud gets stuck in the brakes and pushes the pads outward in one direction.
to fix it you have to make either the electric motor turn forward (via phyicaly turning by hand or electricity) to advance the cogs in the dif. and get it in the same place as the computer thinks it is in! the computer knows what it happerning in the dif via the round electric ccontact pad on the left side of the dif.
Posted January 5, 2018. Welcome to QUADCRAZY! I moved your topic to the Suzuki forum. I used to own a 700 King Quad myself. The OE filter number should be 16510-03G00-X07 and that crosses to aftermarket part numbers: If you have a Napa, you'll need a 1359 Gold. I'll look around for a manual.
Read post #5. To check if this is your problem, you can pull the injector off the top of the throttle body and look at it, also, check the seal while you have it out. Also, make sure all of your electrical connectors are in good shape and plugged in all the way.
