I have sent the two files (filenames changed for security reasons) to the desktop. I guess before I installed Microsoft 365 on my new pc (Windows 11), I changed one of the shortcut icons (the one on the bottom - see illustration). Of course, after I installed Microsoft 365, the word files that I sent to the desktop had the "Microsoft Word" icon.
