A new fish cleaning station opened at Lampe Marina, on the south end of the parking lot, in Erie on May 1, 2024. The station will be open 24 hours a day, May 1 through Oct. 31, 2024.
The cleaning stations are convenient for anglers to clean their fish as soon as they leave the waterways and leave the fish remains there instead of finding a way to dispose of them at home.
The park features a 1,000 slip marina, boat launches, a fish cleaning station, a nautical-themed playground, and picnic pavilions, and a restaurant. A beach is also available, however swimming is not permitted as of 2015.
There are 81 campsites to choose from, 50 of which have an electrical hookup on the campsites and many of which are right on the water. Additional amenities include flush toilets, showers, playground, boat ramp, drinking water, nature trail, public beach, and fish cleaning station.
