The governor of Camarines Sur (Filipino: Punong Lalawigan ng Camarines Sur) is the chief executive of the Philippine province of Camarines Sur.. Previously located in Naga City, the seat of the Governor has been located in Pili, Camarines Sur since 1955, after the transfer of the provincial capital there due to the inauguration of Naga as an independent city.
Camarines Sur was represented as part of Ambos Camarines until it was granted its own representations in 1919. It was divided into two legislative districts until 1972. It was part of the representation of Region V from 1978 to 1984, and from 1984 to 1986, it elected 4 assemblymen at-large.
The district consists of the west central Camarines Sur municipalities of Gainza, Libmanan, Milaor, Minalabac, Pamplona, Pasacao and San Fernando. It is currently represented in the 18th Congress by Luis Raymund Villafuerte of the National Unity Party (NUP). [4]
