A carnival game is a game of chance or skill that can be seen at a traveling carnival, charity fund raiser, amusement arcade and amusement park, or on a state and county fair midway. They are also commonly played on holidays such as Mardi Gras, Saint Patrick's Day, and Oktoberfest. Carnival games are usually operated on a "pay per play" basis.

Using in-game currency, players must purchase stands and stalls, which are operated by different Peanuts characters. The game has two different currencies: coins and Snoopy Bucks.

Area 51 (2005), a first person shooter by Midway Games. Its free release was sponsored by the US Air Force. It later changed hands and its freeware status was removed.
The game allows the player to pick up items, go to different locations, listen to characters, and find trivial click points. Clicking on an item allows the player to drag it over the screen. Clicking on a certain place while holding an object allows Ollo to use it. Most puzzles require the player to make exchanges with characters and trade items.
