The doc said that the price for the Toyota 0W20 synthetic under the Toyota bulk oil program was $12.76/gal or $3.19/qt. Prices have probably risen a bit since then, but a lube publication published back in Oct that Toyota actually lowered the price of the oil a little bit.

Bought mine brand new. First oil change at 2K, 2nd oil change at 5k, every 5k after that. I have used Mobil 1, Valvoline, and Toyota 0-20 always using OEM filters. Engine runs smoothest and quietest with Toyota oil so that is what I will be sticking with.
To do the oil change for me (are you holding on...) 79.99. I called a local garage who said they would do it for 55.00. I had the ramps, filter, washers, rags, wrenches, a dump container, and the motivation just no oil. I finally bought the 5 quarts and had to drive 20 miles. The oil change was easy, getting the oil, pretty hard.
3) The oil change door is now intentionally removable (no "hinge") - and is secured by 3 real screws. Not those plastic pop-rivets. - but the larger under-cover is secured by the plastic pop-rivets, not screws. 4) I couldn't remove from the oil pan the washer that was there. (I tried to pry it with a screwdriver, and it didn't budge).
