I've been using Milk of Magnesia topically for a while now. It seems to work well for me for Seb Derm on the face and dandruff as a change from Ketaconazole (Nizoral) shampoo. I use it in the shower like a shampoo, and wipe it gently over the bad bits of my face. Then rinse it off thoroughly.

I used metro gel for many years with only limited success. One day I was reading people's pharmacy and a man wrote in saying he'd been using milk of magnesia and his Rosacea disappeared. Milk of Magnesia helps a lot of people. Kiwifruit are helpful, too. I found that I also had to ask my doctor for a prescription for an aperient that I took all the time I was taking pain medication.
I'm still struggling with the pain meds but seem to have found what is working for me with the the help of my OS and his attentive use of the Pulse app. He has me on Tamadol & Tylenol and Dilaudid. I alternate between the two every 3 hours. I also take medicine for the nausea as needed. Prune juice with a spoon of milk of magnesia.
