The album features Delaney and Bonnie's best-known touring band, including Eric Clapton, Jim Gordon, Carl Radle, Bobby Whitlock, and Dave Mason.Many of the players on this album went on to work with George Harrison on his post-Beatles debut album All Things Must Pass and with Clapton on his solo debut.
Joseph Henry Delaney was born on 25 July 1945 in Preston, Lancashire, the son of a labourer. [1] He was the oldest of four children. [2] As a child, Delaney had a recurring nightmare where he sat with his mother while she knitted, when, suddenly, a shadowy figure emerged from the coal cellar, picked him up, and carried him into darkness.
Death in Vegas set up their own label, Drone Records, [4] and released their fourth album, Satan's Circus, in 2004. The melody of Kraftwerk's "Trans-Europe Express" and "Kometenmelodie 2" are featured in the tracks "Zugaga" and "Kontroll" respectively. Unlike the previous two albums, Satan's Circus did not feature any guest vocalists.
