The Legend of Snow White (白雪姫の伝説, Shirayuki Hime no Densetsu) is a Japanese anime series produced by Tatsunoko Production, based on the 1812 European fairy tale. Directed by Kunitoshi Okajima, the series premiered on NHK on 6 April 1994 and ran for 52 episodes until its conclusion on 29 March 1995.

Though an anime director himself, Satou did not direct the anime adaptation of Prétear. Kiyoko Sayama directed the series, while Satou provided consultation and checked the scripts and storyboards before they were animated. The anime characters were designed by Akemi Kobayashi, who made changes to the characters for the new story.
