So.. I have a genuine Fallout 76 review from a person who hasn’t played since release. Quick background: I bought the Fallout 76 Power Armor Edition, which was a big spend for someone like me, but I genuinely love the Fallout series. As silly and naive as it sounds, Fallout 3 was the first console game I ever owned.
Being the huge fan of Fallout that i am, i can honestly say i'm far more impressed with 76 than i expected. All glitches and annoyances aside, i gotta say that it's a decent Fallout game. Maybe not the best, yet i can't help but to find myself in awe with how immersive this game has truly become since launch. Sure there's the many arguments of ...
This is the biggest "hand made" map Bethesda has ever created and is arguably one of the best. Tons of variety and interesting locations. Its getting a map expansion in late 2024. First time ever in its history and players are excited. Part 2: The "multiplayer" experience.
Here’s a controversial opinion: Fallout 76 is a good game. Here’s a less controversial opinion: Fallout 4 is a good game, just not a good “Fallout” game. Gameplay I’ve heard that comment echo a lot within the fallout and general gaming community. It’s because to a large portion of people Fallout 4’s best parts are the exploration ...
Fallout 76 Review. In short, the map is pretty, I find the stories interesting, the new V.A.T.S is an improvement over the Fallout 4 V.A.T.S, the map is leagues better but lacking function, the gun combat is more tolerable, the new weapons are a welcome addition, and I like the NPCs. This is based on 10-15 hours of gameplay.
Fallut 76 has a hint of ARK survival Evolved if it was made by a developer that actually knew what they were doing, with a pre generated world that cannot be touched, you can either do some quests (which are basically side quests from previous fallout games, fun but quick) or go and build your C.A.M.P. with an overhauled building system from ...
I am a huge Fallout fan, I have played 1,2,3,NV and 4 dozens of times but i’m a little burnt out and looking for a more fresh Fallout experience so I began looking into Fallout 76 again. I bought this game when it came out and I was horribly disappointed. Mostly towards the extreme amount of bugs I experienced but also how dry the game felt.
It's only superficially Fallout at best. You'll be more effective digging a hole with a marshmallow than scratching a Fallout itch with 76. That said, if you like a mindless looter shooter with a shitty MP experience and a bunch of microtrans, then 76 is your game. You're better off just modding the crap out of fallout 4 for a better experience.

As a real Fallout fan and someone who VERY much disliked Fallout 76 at launch and even right after the Wastelanders update, I wanted to say, this game is pretty great. I can easily see myself spending several hundred more hours and that is a big deal - very very few games provide 20 or 60 hours of content these days.
