Purchased in 1845 at 52 acres, the farm expanded to 2500 acres reaching to Corporate Woods. Known as Middlebrook State Premium Farm Peach Orchard, in 1851 it was awarded the best farm in New York State. The property still maintains wooded areas of Eastern Hemlock, Red Maple, Elm and American Beech trees.
The event was a four-weekend fair and drew approximately 10,000 people. [1] In 1988, [2] the Shapiros sold the fair to Renaissance Entertainment Corporation, having created a second incarnation of the King Richard's Faire in Carver, Massachusetts. The original King Richard's Faire was re-opened that year as the "Bristol Renaissance Faire".

Bristol is a village in Kenosha County, Wisconsin, United States. It was incorporated in 2009 from portions of the Town of Bristol. The population was 5,192 at the 2020 census, more than double the 2010 census population of 2,584. The former unincorporated communities of Bissell, Cypress, Pikeville, and Woodworth are located in the village.
