Kanger Valley National Park (also known as Kanger Ghati National Park) is a national park in the Bastar region of Chhattisgarh state in India.It came into existence in July 1982 and covers an area of approximately 200 square kilometres (77 sq mi).
One can approach the falls from Darbha, near state highway that connects Jagdalpur to Sukma. One has to take a jeep at Darbha junction to visit Teerathgarh and Kutumsar. Kutumsar Caves and Kailash Gufa are nearby attractions. It is in Kanger Ghati National Park.
There are many more caves identified around 5 km radius of this caves, but Kotumsar cave is the most biologically live cave of Kanger Valley National Park having healthy biodiversity. Gunda Dhur was a tribal leader from village Nethanar in Jagdalpur tehsil, of Bastar district, in present-day Chhattisgarh. [1] [2] He played a major role in 1910 rebellion of the Dhurwas of Kanger forest in Bastar, and led the rebellion.
