The Minnesota Court of Appeals, which began on November 1, 1983, provides the citizens of Minnesota with prompt and deliberate review of all final decisions of the trial courts, state agencies, and local governments.

Appellate opinions are accessible on the Minnesota Judicial Branch’s website, the Minnesota State Law Library's website, and other search engines and websites. After an opinion is filed, it cannot be removed from the Internet.

All Minnesota appellate court opinions from May 2, 1996 forward can be searched online. The Advanced search feature lets you search for words specifically in the title field where the parties names would be located.
The P-MACS website provides access to appellate case filings in both open and closed appellate files. P-MACS displays information about individual cases, including the title and file number, case participants, and dates and details of all docket entries.

The Minnesota Appellate E-Filing Application (E-MACS) provides the ability for users to electronically file documents with the Clerk of Appellate Courts in cases pending before the MN Court of Appeals and the MN Supreme Court.
