Chicago XXVI: Live in Concert is a live album by the American band Chicago, their twenty-sixth album overall, released in 1999.Their second live album to be released in the US, it was Chicago's first of the sort since 1971's Chicago at Carnegie Hall and 1972's Live in Japan, though the band had released commercial VHS tapes of two concerts in the early 1990s.
The album was released in the U.S. in 1996 as a two-CD set (CRD-3030) on Chicago's own label, Chicago Records. Live in Japan does not follow Chicago's convention of numbering albums. Chicago's other early live album, 1971's Chicago at Carnegie Hall, however, is part of the canon, with the numbering for the album being 'IV'.
[1] [2] It was issued on CD by Charly Records under the title 'Live In Paris' presumably to avoid confusion with the Delmark 'Live At Mandel Hall' album (issued on CD under the title 'Live'), and then later issued in the US, with the same artwork and design, by Fuel 2000 Records in the US.
