I just acquired a laptop with Windows 11 to replace a laptop with Windows 10. I need to copy my contacts from PEOPLE in 10 to PEOPLE in 11. I have spent days looking for an answer with no luck. Help is needed since Microsoft is of no help. Ironically my emails all went into 11 automatically and work perfectly.

The Contacts folder still exist in Windows 10. Press Windows key + R. Type: %userprofile% Hit Enter. Open the contacts folder . Click New Contact on the command bar. You can also use the People app to create and manage contacts.

Report abuse. Address book no longer exists. Win 10 uses the People app instead. You can also find the Contacts folder in Users- (your user name). You can right-click the folder and pin it to the Start menu or you can pin the folder into Quick Access in the File Explorer. The folder could also be added into one of the Libraries if desired.
I agree. I cannot believe that windows 10 made the e-mail program more difficult to use by not including an east to access e-mail address book. Seems like some parts of Windows 10 actually went backwards. Can and will this mistake be rectified? Those who developed this upgrade should be the ones to respond to my comments and questions.
