The mixtape consists of sixteen songs produced by nine producers (predominantly ID Labs), and includes features from rappers Wiz Khalifa and Phonte.
The song was written by Miller and Guy Lawrence of Disclosure, [3] with George Forrest and Robert Wright receiving writing credits due to a use of "It's a Blue World" by the Four Freshmen as a sample. The song was produced by Lawrence and Jon Brion. The song was ranked number 71 on The Fader's list of the 100 best songs of 2020. [4]

The song is named after Frick Park Market, a food store in Mac Miller's hometown of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania at which the rapper once worked.
