The Dallara F2 2024 is an open-wheel racing car developed by Italian manufacturer Dallara for use in the FIA Formula 2 Championship, a feeder-series for Formula One. The F2 2024 is the third car used by the FIA Formula 2 Championship and was introduced for the 2024 season as a replacement for the Dallara F2 2018 .
The series introduced a new car for 2024, the Dallara F2 2024, having used the F2 2018 for the previous six years. The car was designed to more closely resemble the current generation of Formula One cars, includes more advanced safety technologies and is intended to better accommodate female racing drivers.
The Dallara F2 2018 chassis, which had been used by Formula 2 since the 2018 season, was replaced by the new Dallara F2 2024 chassis, which was adapted to the current concept of a Formula One car. Like last season, a turbocharged 3.4-litre V6 Mecachrome engine was used, albeit being an evolution of the previous one.
