Lewistown High School, or LHS, is a public four-year high school located at 15205 North IL Route 100 in Lewistown, Illinois, a small city in Fulton County, in the Midwestern United States. LHS is part of Lewistown Community Unit School District 97, which serves the communities of Bryant, Lewistown, Little America, and St. David.
Mifflin-Juniata Career and Technology Center, built in 1968, [1] is situated on approximately 20 acres and consists of the 81,136 square-foot school and an annex of 1,966 square feet. Most instructional areas include both classroom and laboratory/shop areas.
Mifflin County is a county in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.As of the 2020 census, the population was 46,143. [1] Its county seat is Lewistown. [2] [1] The county was created on September 19, 1789, from parts of Cumberland County and Northumberland County.

Lewistown is a census designated place and unincorporated community in Frederick County, Maryland, United States. [3] Lewistown Elementary school, part of Frederick County Public Schools, is located in Lewistown. The town, founded in 1841, has had a school since the 19th century. There is a large elderly population in the community. [4]
Lewistown is located in central Fulton County. U.S. Route 24 passes through the center of the city, leading northeast 40 miles (64 km) to Peoria and southwest 89 miles (143 km) to Quincy. Illinois Route 97 leads north from Lewistown 48 miles (77 km) to Galesburg.
The Borough of Lewistown is served by the Mifflin County School District. It is also home to the only local Catholic Elementary school, Sacred Heart of Jesus , which educates children of any religion in grades K–5. Lewistown is home to the Pennsylvania State Fire Academy, which is the only such facility in the state.
