Khuzdar, though one of the important cities of Balochistan is a small sized city located in Khuzdar District in Balochistan, Pakistan. The city of Khuzdar is situated on National Highway linking Pakistan, Iran and Turkey. It is about 400 km from Karachi and 300 km from Quetta, both of them being major cities in the country.
In 1955, Khuzdar became the capital of the newly formed Kalat Division before it became a district of its own in 1974.Gresha is the sub tehsil of khuzdar District and its almost 80Km from khuzdar city. [2] As of 2017, it is the largest Brahui-speaking city. [3] [4] [5] [6]

Wadh (Urdu: وڈھ) is a sub-division in the Khuzdar District of Balochistan, Pakistan. [1] Most of the inhabitants of the sub-district belong to the Mengal tribe. The land of Wadh is agricultural and cultivated. The source of income of the people of Wadh is mainly farming and mining. The vast majority of the people in the area are Muslim.

In 1960, Lasbela district transferred to form Karachi-Bela division. On 1 July 1971, Makran district separates from Kalat Division to form a separate division. In 1972, Lasbela district again become a part of Kalat division. In 1974, a new district Khuzdar created from Kalat district and added in Kalat Division.
