South Cape Beach State Park is a Massachusetts state park located in the town of Mashpee.It is part of the Waquoit Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve.The park is situated between Waquoit Bay and Vineyard Sound and features barrier beach and dunes, salt marsh, scrub oak and pitch pine woodland and kettle ponds and is managed by the Department of Conservation and Recreation.
New Seabury is located in the southern part of the town of Mashpee at It is bordered to the south by Vineyard Sound and Nantucket Sound, to the east by the Popponesset and Popponesset Island CDPs, to the north by Ockway Bay, and to the west by Great Oak Road.
The name Park Hills was submitted by Mildred Lee, a lifelong resident and a former teacher of Flat River. The inspiration came from its hilly terrain in the foothills of the Ozark Mountains and the many parks that surround the area. Park Hills is located 7 miles northwest of Farmington, Missouri and approximately 65 miles south of St. Louis.
St. Joe State Park is a public recreation area consisting of 8,243 acres (3,336 ha) on the south side of Park Hills, Missouri, along the flanks of the Saint Francois Mountains. Popponesset Island is located in the southeastern part of the town of Mashpee. [4] It lies in Popponesset Bay, an arm of Nantucket Sound, and is separated from the mainland of Cape Cod by the narrow Popponesset Creek. The CDP of New Seabury is to the west, across Popponesset Creek, and the Popponesset CDP is to the southwest.

[1] Pristine shoreline, natural spawning areas, and excellent water quality make the Mashpee River one of Massachusetts' finest sources of sea-run brook trout.
The Lowell Holly Reservation is a 135-acre (0.55 km 2) nature reserve in Mashpee and Sandwich, Massachusetts and is managed by the Trustees of Reservations.The area was extensively planted by A. Lawrence Lowell and Wilfred Wheeler with rhododendrons, mountain laurel and holly trees, for which the reservation gets its name.
