Jujutsu Kaisen (呪術廻戦, rgh. "Sorcery Battle") [b] is a Japanese anime television series produced by MAPPA, based on the manga series of the same name by Gege Akutami.The story follows high school student Yuji Itadori as he joins a secret organization of Jujutsu Sorcerers to eliminate a powerful Curse named Ryomen Sukuna, of whom Yuji becomes the host.
During the duel, Gojo greatly injures Sukuna before his defeat, while Sukuna forces Megumi to be the target of Gojo's Infinite Void attacks. During the showdown with the reincarnated Sukuna, Yuta helps Yuji reach Megumi's soul inside, but the latter is too far gone into darkness and refuses his help.
Sukuna takes over Yuji's body, tearing off a finger and forcing Megumi to swallow it, thus leaving Yuji's body and incarnating into Megumi's. Sukuna kills Yorozu—and therefore Tsumiki—weakening Megumi's resolve so that his soul will neglect to fight Sukuna's possession. The main group unseals Gojo.
Sukuna confronts Megumi and rips Yuji's heart out so that if they switch back, Yuji will die while Sukuna will still control the body. Sukuna defeats Megumi but is intrigued by his potential.
