The Regina Cougars men's ice hockey team is an ice hockey team representing the Regina Cougars athletics program of University of Regina. The Regina Cougars women's ice hockey program is a college ice hockey program that represents the University of Regina in the Canada West Universities Athletic Association conference of U Sports women's ice hockey. Brandy West-McMaster has served as interim head coach of the program since February 2024. [1]
The program has won two U Sports football conference championships, in 2000 and 2024, and the team has made one appearance in the Vanier Cup championship game. The Rams nickname is used by the university's football team only; all of the other teams at the school are named the Regina Cougars.
