Panther Creek completed construction in June of 2022, [5] opening fall of the same year. The school is named after the creek that is by the campus. [6] Panther Creek High school receives students from Stafford and Trent Middle School, and also relieves Lone Star High School and Memorial High school from exceeding 2,100 students.

In 2000, a new Prosper High School was built for grades 9-12. Prosper Middle School was established at the 1963 campus with grades 5-8. In 2005, Folsom Elementary opened with grades PK-3. Prosper Elementary was renamed Rucker Elementary and hosted grades 4-5, with Prosper Middle School hosting grades 6-8.
Although the intent is to keep the community a one-high-school town, two new middle schools opened for the 2020-2021 school year. Most of the city in LEISD goes to Walker Middle School, while small portions go to Strike Middle School. A portion of the city is within the Frisco Independent School District. [21]

Legacy Christian Academy is a private, non-denominational Christian elementary, middle, and college-preparatory school located in Frisco, Texas. Legacy's upper school (grades 9–12) was named a national blue ribbon school in 2017. [1] [2]
