The siege of Danzig (19 March – 24 May 1807) was the French encirclement and capture of Danzig during the War of the Fourth Coalition. On 19 March 1807, around 27,000 French troops under Marshal Lefebvre besieged around 14,400 Prussian troops under Marshal Kalckreuth garrisoning the city of Danzig.

After the defeat of the Fourth Coalition, and the capture of the city by French, Polish and Italian troops, Napoleon Bonaparte created the semi-independent Free City of Danzig (1807–1814). Danzig reverted to Prussia after Napoleon's defeat in 1814, following another siege that lasted almost a whole year.
The Free City of Danzig included the major city of Danzig as well as Zoppot , Tiegenhof (Nowy Dwór Gdański), Neuteich and some 252 villages and 63 hamlets. Covering a total area of 1,966 square kilometers (754 sq mi), the territory was roughly twice the size of the Napoleonic statelet .
