Honda Marysville Auto Plant (MAP) is a Honda manufacturing facility located approximately six miles northwest of Marysville, Ohio, and 42 miles northwest of Columbus, Ohio, near the intersection of US 33 and State Route 739. The eleventh-generation Honda Civic (FE/FL) is a compact car manufactured by Honda since 2021, replacing the tenth-generation Civic. It was launched in the North American market in June 2021, in Southeast Asia in August, Japan and China in September, and Australia and New Zealand in December.

The tenth-generation Honda Civic (FC/FK) is a compact car manufactured by Honda from 2015 until 2022, replacing the ninth-generation Civic. It was first released in November 2015 in the North American market, followed by its introduction in Europe and Asia-Pacific in 2016, [ 6 ] and in Japan in 2017. [ 7 ]
The Honda Civic GX first appeared in 1998 as a factory-modified Civic LX that had been designed to run exclusively on CNG (compressed natural gas). In 1998 the Civic GX cost $4500 more than a comparable Civic LX. [10] The car looked and drove just like a contemporary Honda Civic LX, but did not run on gasoline.
The Honda Civic, introduced in 1973, became popular in the United States, leading a significant expansion of Honda into the American market. By 1976, the company had 630 automobile dealers, and Honda followed the Civic with the Accord hatchback, which became the best-selling passenger car in the United States from 1990 to 1992. [3]
