Trowbridge (/ ˈ t r oʊ b r ɪ dʒ / TROH-brij) is the county town of Wiltshire, England; situated on the River Biss in the west of the county, close to the border with Somerset.The town lies 8 miles (13 km) south-east of Bath, 31 miles (50 km) south-west of Swindon and 20 miles (32 km) south-east of Bristol.

Castle Place Shopping Centre is a shopping centre in Trowbridge, England. [1] The shopping centre was purchased by Legal & General Property in 2010. In 2011, it was refurbished. [2] In May 2023, the shopping centre was sold at auction for £1.2 million. [3] [4] [5]
In 2011, a group of residents formed the Trowbridge Town Hall Trust to help restore the building, [21] and since then it has been used for exhibitions and community events. [8] As of 2023–2024, work is underway to restore the structure and remodel the interior, with funding from the UK Government's Future High Streets fund.
