Cracked version is basically useless without the steamworkshop unless you want to make wallpapers yourself. I tried cracked version a while ago but bought it cause it was cheap. Waaaayyyy to much of a chore to try and pirate this one lol. Its $4, there are probably other options if you want a true 'free experience.
Hayabusa_88. •. Just copy the URL and paste it and follow the instructions all you have to do is wait 8 seconds in order for it to create the video for you and be able to download it. Once it created the video externally then you just download it and you can re-upload it into your livewallpaper app for macosx. yes!
Not lecturing here but Wallpaper Engine is worth buying now. I used the cracked version for a good amount of time but it was just horribly overpriced at $20. I'm not sure when it happened but it's now only $3.99 from it's original $19.99 price tag. I had an under $5 balance on my Steam wallet so I just tossed it in the cart and checked out.

But i can understand your problem as many parents think these type of things are useless :') There is alternative software called Lively Wallpaper it's free and you can find it in Microsoft store. I haven't used it too much as i prefer wallpaper engine. Good luck bro. 8.
Now steam cannot download the workshop content regardless of how many times it tries to force it. Now I think I may be able to transfer the specific workshop content that I want from the 100gb+ computer to the 6gb of free space computer and hopefully Wallpaper Engine recognizes it. Edit 2: It worked!
The Jellyfish, specifically, adds like 30 watts of power draw, but I'm not really seeing the same on the other ones that I wasn't too interested in. Well, I think one of the major reasons to buy Wallpaper Engine is that you can just use the Steamworkshop to find Wallpapers. Yeah, kinda inconvenient.
So you could install Steam + WPE -> choose a wallpaper -> uninstall Steam. The program boots up without simultaneously starting Steam — although you do have to open Steam in order for Wallpaper Engine’s browsing functionality to work properly. The program (once installed) can be run without steam.
yes, the entire wallpaper project is stored as a steam workshop "mod". If you look at the URL to wallpaper engine WPE's app ID is 431960 so the workshop stuff is stored at %steam install directory%\steam\steamapps\workshop\content\431960\<mod ID> just like the app ID, you can get the mod ID by looking at the URL.
For me they are stored here: Steam>steamapps>workshop>content>431960. The 43160 being the steam id of wallpaper engine. I'm pretty sure this is the default location for everyone. Just go to properties on the app itself in steam, go to local files location, Steam>steamapps>workshop>content>431960.
