Thomas Francis Dorsey Jr. (November 19, 1905 – November 26, 1956) [1] was an American jazz trombonist, composer, conductor and bandleader of the big band era.He was known as the "Sentimental Gentleman of Swing" because of his smooth-toned trombone playing. [2]
In May 1958, Peggy Lee recorded a cover version of "Fever" in Hollywood, which featured significantly rewritten lyrics composed by Lee herself without credit. [21] [22] The song was not included on Lee's album, Things Are Swingin', when it was first released in 1959; however it was listed as a bonus track on its 2004 reissue release. [21]

Fever 333 was signed to Roadrunner Records and later Century Media / 333 Wreckords. Their debut album, Strength in Numb333rs, was released a year later, followed by a second EP, Wrong Generation, in 2020. The band released their second studio album, Darker White, in 2024.
