The Yamaha WR250F is an off-road motorcycle made by Yamaha Motor Company.It has a 250 cc (15 cu in) liquid-cooled single nikasil coated cylinder engine. First offered in 2001, it shared many components and design concepts with the YZ250F motocross model.
The WR in both names indicates a wide-ratio gear box designed to offer good low-speed responsiveness in off-road situations while still being able to achieve freeway speeds. Yamaha announced the discontinuation of the WR250R in its 2021 lineup press release in 2020, making 2020 the last production year for the WR250R.
The 2005 WR weighed in at 244 pounds dry, the seat height was reduced to 38 inches and the fuel tank was decreased to 2.1 gallons. The Yamaha YZ450F is a four-stroke racing motocross bike built by Yamaha Motor Corporation.It was the successor to the previous YZ426F which was discontinued in 2003. It is credited by Cycle World and Dirt Rider magazines as the bike that started the four-stroke dirt bike revolution.
