Goku Black was a combination of Goku's body, and Zamasu's mind/heart/soul. Goku's body isn't invincible, nor is Goku's body the strongest body in all the Universes. Meanwhile, Zamasu's fighting skill, while described as being a prodigy, can't be that great as Goku was able to best him during their sparring match while just in Super Saiyan form ...
Goku Black's goal turned out to be, in his mind, righteous. He believes he's saving the future. The proganist of this arc is not Goku, but it's actually Trunks. Trunks has a goal. He wants to fight and defend a world for humans and keep them safe. Goku Black/Zamasu is competing for the same goal, they want to create a peaceful universe.
The real headache was that Goku Black acted like he wasn't the kai that fought Goku in a future of the present timeline. Goku Black was like, "So this is how Goku fights. Amazing. I have to get stronger." I'm like, "but you already fought him. That's what sets you on your path, remember moron?" Lol
Eobard can literally speed steal goku black until he’s a statue, take the time ring, and then remove him from the timeline in the past before he got the ring. Taking the ring in the past, and the present at the same time, and using black’s own scythe to slash him a million times in an instant should be death.
IMO, the Goku Black arc is nowhere near the best arcs in all of Dragonball. For Super, it was the strongest arc at the time of its release, but that’s only because the previous arcs were really bad. The Tournament of Power arc clearly outdid the Goku Black arc and it stands as the best arc in Super.
If Goku Black knew about Hit's abilities or endured long enough for his strength to acclimate, Hit would have major difficulty. While remarkably skilful, Hit’s move set prospers on those not knowing his methods (invisible Ki strikes, Time Skip, pocket dimensions, et cetera), and Goku Black is a Kai whose entire selling point was his ...
Bro, why was Goku black SO BRUTAL against trunks in the manga? r/Dragonballsuper. r/Dragonballsuper.
A malevolent entity bearing the appearance of Earth's Hero, Goku Black appeared in the timeline of Future Trunk's with the intent of eradicating humanity in the name of "justice". He was revealed ...
Goku Black was honestly better than expected. Ngl the concept of an evil Goku wasn’t appealing to me and an odd choice for a villain for Future Trunks but Goku Black kinda carried the anime version of the arc more or less. The manga version of Black was okay but the anime did it better imo. I didn’t care for Future Trunks’s Rage ...
Goku Black has two emotions: super smug because he's winning, or super butthurt because he's losing. Then he gets a power up and then gets super smug again. It's like looking at Perfect Cell or Saiyan Arc Vegeta all over again. At least in the anime, Black was more respectful even to his opponents, and praised Goku and Vegeta for being much ...
