Camp Hansen is a United States Marine Corps base located in Okinawa, Japan. The camp is situated in the town of Kin , near the northern shore of Kin Bay, and is the second-northernmost major installation on Okinawa, with Camp Schwab to the north.
Kin is located at the middle of Okinawa Island, and is roughly triangular in shape.The town is roughly 13 kilometres (8.1 mi) long from east to west. From north to south the town ranges between 2 kilometres (1.2 mi) to 8 kilometres (5.0 mi) at its widest point, measured from BÅ«todake in Camp Hansen to the tip of Cape Kin.
