STAYC (/ ˈsteɪsi /; Korean : 스테이씨 ; RR : Seuteissi, acronym for Star to a Young Culture) is a South Korean girl group formed by High Up Entertainment. The group is composed of six members: Sumin, Sieun, Isa, Seeun, Yoon, and J. They debuted on November 12, 2020, with the release of their debut single album Star to a Young Culture.

On October 11, High Up Entertainment announced that their first ever girl group "STAYC" would be debuting on November 12, 2020. [3] All members of the group were announced between September 8 and October 22. The title of their single album was announced to be Star To A Young Culture, with the lead single "So Bad". [2]
