I thought I was being dramatic or that my tempurpedic mattress is sagging when at like 8 weeks I was having horrible lower back/tailbone and hip pain while sleeping. At my first appointment I told my doctor and she told me that the body is just stretching and growing to make room for baby, even this early.
I knew it was normal but was looking for natural ways to decrease the pain. Finally, at 36-37 weeks, pregnant and OB listened to me and gave me a referral for PT. Even though it was just for the last 3 weeks, it helped. As soon as you give birth, the hip pain will go away. I was surprised at how quickly aches and pains and congestion disappeared.

Had servere hip and groin pain 4 days after surgery which was treated with anti inflammatory and pain killers. It improved with rest but as soon as I tried to get back exercising the pain gets worse again. Today I can hardly walk and I am a single mum who has no other option. At the time I had months of physio that caused more pain.
