   Because they haven't joined the war, Italy taking Ethiopia isn't sufficient to bring the UK or France into the war. There are only two participants at war, Italy and Ethiopia. Allies on both sides can join the war if they choose to. Edit: I didn't see the image, actually, there are 5 participants Ethiopia vs Italy, Germany, Albania and Yugoslavia.
