Yeah, I have PFPortChecker, my port is 25565, and it says " Your Port is OPEN on this computer!" But I just do not know which IP to use and if I add my port or no.
I am trying to start a new server for me ans a few friends and I cannot find out what my server port is. I got a number on aruljohn.com but then I when I went to enter that number I closed the window and forgot the number . When I reopened it in my history it was a totally different number. then i refreshed it and it was a different number again.
To really do it go to run on your windows start menu. Then type in "cmd" without quotes. Then when the terminal thing pops type in "ipconfig" no spaces or quotes.

Your IP on forums are almost always guaranteed to be only seen by people who are a part of staff. Someone isn't going to be able to get into your server without having the IP for it. There is no way for me to connect to your server for example without telling Minecraft what the server IP is.
