It is located near the mouth of Stockhoff Creek. Access is by means of State Route 1. [2] It was one of the filming locations for 20th Century Fox's 1947 fantasy film, The Ghost and Mrs. Muir.

Kangaroo Lake is a lake located in Klamath National Forest. [1] The lake covers 21 acres (8.5 ha) and contains large brook trout. [2] There is a nearby campground with both drive-in and walk-in campsites. Non-motorized boats are allowed on the lake, although there is no boat ramp. [3]
