Throne and Liberty is a massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) developed and published by NCSoft. It was published in North America, South America, Europe, and Japan by Amazon Games. The game was originally part of the Lineage series and a sequel to the first Lineage, but was repurposed and restructured well into development.
Extensive concept art was done for the lore of the series. The characters and story of the StarCraft series were created by Chris Metzen [1] and James Phinney. [1] However, as Phinney was not involved in StarCraft: Brood War, Chris Metzen alone is credited for the development of the plot in the expansion. [2]
Wings of Liberty focuses on the Terrans, while the expansions, Heart of the Swarm and Legacy of the Void, would focus on the Zerg and Protoss, respectively.
