Lake Arrowhead is a private community and census-designated place (CDP) in Clinton County, Missouri, United States. It is in the southeastern part of the county, surrounding a lake of the same name. It is 4 miles (6 km) south of Lathrop, 3 miles (5 km) north of Holt, and 33 miles (53 km) northeast of Kansas City.
The 24-acre (9.7 ha) Bear Creek Dog Park has a 0.75-mile (1.21 km) loop trail that owners and pets can hike on, stabilized pools within 0.25-mile (0.40 km) of creek access for dogs to play in, a holding pen near restrooms and a penned small dog area.

Lake Spring is an unincorporated community in northwest Dent County, Missouri, United States. [1] It is located approximately twelve miles (19 km) southeast of Rolla on Route 72. A post office called Lake Spring has been in operation since 1856. [2] The community was named after a nearby pool of water fed by a spring. [3]
The community lies on Missouri Route F one mile east of U.S. Route 65 and two miles southwest of Meriam Woods and U.S. Route 160. [5] According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of 0.16 square miles (0.41 km 2), all land. [6]
As of the 2010 census, there were 8,957 people, 3,669 households and 2,461 families residing in the county.The population density was 12 people per square mile (4.6 people/km 2).
Appleton City was originally called Arlington, and under the latter name was platted in 1870. [5] The present name is after D.S. Appleton (1824-1890) of the D. Appleton & Company, who contributed a $500 library to the city.
